Abstract
The use of farmers' time that is not optimal causes the low income earned by farmers. This research aims to analyze rice farmers' working time, analyze factors that influence rice farmers' time allocation, and analyze farmers' income in rice farming. The sampling method was proportional random sampling with a total of 71 farmers as respondents. Primary data was collected by means of interviews assisted by using questionnaires. The first objective was analyzed quantitatively descriptively, the second objective used multiple linear regression analysis, and the third objective calculated the income of rice farmers. The research results show that 1) the working time of rice farmers in Pulogede Village is divided into two. First, the allocation of farmers' working time each day is divided into personal time at 39.3%, time working on the farm (rice farming) at 27.6%, time for working off the farm at 13.5%, free time at 9 .6%, and time for homework at 6.6%. Second, farmers' work time allocation in rice farming requires 90.47 HOK in one planting season. 2) factors that influence farmers' work time allocation are age, land area, farming experience, farming income, number of family dependents, and education. 3) the income earned by rice farmers is IDR.10.670.551/season/ha.
