Abstract

Self-identification learning should be taught in early childhood (3-6 years old) as it is essential for building a positive and strong foundation of identity. Children who do not go through this educational process will experience difficulties in personality development and emotional management, which can hinder their academic performance. In the process of self-discovery, one of the stages that must be passed is by providing early learning about oneself. This learning is based on data based on the existing curriculum at school. Learning in children should be given in a fun way such as playing. Game media is very diverse to be used as learning, but board games were chosen in this design because they are considered in accordance with early childhood games. The design of a self-introduction board game for early childhood education is made with the aim of providing fun, positive and interactive media to children. The board game was chosen because it can create social interaction in it so that children can respond to each other to their peers and also the surrounding environment. In addition, the board game is an interesting media with various visual images. In the process of making it, there are stages that must be passed first by collecting data obtained from interviews and focus group discussions.
