Abstract

Poverty is an issue related to the welfare of mankind. More in-depth research is needed on factors that can affect poverty. Aiming to achieve the influence, Minimum Wage, Open Unemployment Rate, dependency ratio and Economic Growth on the Poverty Rate in East Java Province with a 13-year series from 2010 to 2022. The study used quantitative research using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of East Java Province. Using multiple linear regression with BLUE (Best Linear Unbiased Estimate) assumptions. The results of the study can simultaneously conclude that all independent variables, Minimum Wage (X1), Open Unemployment Rate (X2), Dependency Ratio (X3) and Economic Growth (X4), simultaneously or simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable, Poverty Level (Y). Partially, the Open Unemployment Rate, Dependency Ratio and Economic Growth do not have a significant effect on the Poverty Level, while the Minimum Wage has a significant effect on the Poverty Level.
