Abstract
The Solo - Yogyakarta - NYIA Kulon Progo Section 1 Package 1.1 toll road construction project in Central Java passes through local settlements so that access to be passed by heavy equipment vehicles will be limited, so this study aims to determine the specifications and productivity of heavy equipment used in STA 14+000 to 15+000 using quantitative descriptive methods. Heavy equipment to be studied are excavators, dump trucks, bulldozer, vibratory roller, sheepfoot roller, and motor grader. Research data is obtained through direct observation and conducting interviews with supervisors in the field. After analyzing the calculations, the results of the production of tools per hour are obtained as follows: dump truck 3,56 m3/hour; excavator 65,94 m3/hour; bulldozer 468 m3/hour; vibratory roller 105,67 m3/hour; sheepfoot roller 105,67 m3/hour; motor grader 156.61 m3/hour. Based on this research, the duration of soil excavation work is 58 days, 60 days of soil backfill work, and 60 days of geotextile and LPA backfill work, then when added up the total duration required for earthworks is 178 days or 5.9 months. This is 2 days faster than the planned time of 180 days. In this research, it was found that the idle time for geotextile work and LPA embankment on the vibratory roller was 7,18 hours and on the motor grader it was 7,44 hours.
