Abstract
PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia - Mojokerto Factory is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Indonesia with many years of experience in the cooking spices industry. Based on observations made at PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia - Mojokerto Factory, the company has limitations in that its production planning is less accurate and does not involve historical data on demand in the past, so it often has difficulty dealing with uncertainty in demand and makes production plans that are not optimal, as a result the company is unable to meet demand and loses money. opportunity to earn greater profits. The aim of this research is to create production planning by determining the optimal production volume to obtain maximum sales profit using the goal programming method which focuses on minimizing positive and negative deviations in the objective function. The results of calculating the company's real sales profit for January 2023 - December 2023 are IDR 306,766,482,420,- and the results of calculating sales profits using the goal programming method are IDR 396,559,525,790,-. The difference in income between the two methods is IDR 89,793,043,370,- so it can be concluded that the Goal Programming method can provide the best solution. Results of calculating sales profit for March 2024 - February 2025 using the goal programming method is Rp. 366,340,300,000,-.
