Abstract

This research explains how the negative impact of Brexit affects public opinion and social movements. This research contributes to a better understanding of the complex relationship between foreign policy decisions, social movements, and regional disintegration. This research uses the theories of regional disintegration, relative deprivation, and social movement reactions to analyze how Brexit affects British export, trade, immigration and foreign policy policies which ultimately trigger public demonstrations in reaction to its negative impacts. By examining the impact of Brexit in the UK, this research aims to provide insight into the dynamics of social movements and their responses to significant political and economic change.
