Abstract

ABSTRACT This research seeks to explain the comparison of cyber security between Indonesia and Singapore in the 2016-2021 period. This research uses comparative policy theory to compare the two countries' efforts to improve their cyber security. Researchers also use cyber security theory, through this theory researchers see the efforts of the two countries to improve their cyber security based on the five pillars of the Global Cyber Security Index, including Legal Certainty, Organizational Structure, Procedural Actions, Capacity Building and International Cooperation. Researchers used qualitative data analysis techniques using data regarding the cyber security of the two countries. Based on the research results, Indonesia's efforts to improve its cyber security based on the five pillars used by researchers are still less than Singapore.
