Abstract
Inclusive education is an education, where all students with special needs are accepted in regular schools located in their area of residence and receive various support and educational services according to their needs as confirmed through the circular letter of the Director General of Education and Culture No.380 of 2003. SMP Negeri 1 Prambon is one of the schools that has implemented inclusive education since 2012 and is located in Wirobiting Village, Prambon Sidoarjo District, East Java Province. However, the problem that occurs is, the process of entering data on the development of students with special needs (ABK) at SMP Negeri 1 Prambon until now cannot be accessed online, so parents must visit the school to find out its progress. In fact, generally the working hours of parents always coincide with the school's operating hours. Based on these problems, this study aims to design and build a web-based monitoring information system for children with special needs at SMP Negeri 1 Prambon to make it easier for schools to convey information on the development of ABK students to parents and make it easier for parents of ABK students to access information on child development. anytime and anywhere. The features that can be accessed by admin and parents are class schedules, student report cards, complete student biodata, student documents, and accompanying teachers. The method used in designing this information system is the waterfall method. While the system testing method uses the black box method. This web-based monitoring information system for children with special needs can help SMP Negeri 1 Prambon to facilitate the school in conveying information on the development of ABK students to parents. This monitoring information system also makes it easier for parents of children with special needs to access information on child development anytime and anywhere.
