Abstract
Human resource management at PT. Bunyu Tapa Energi was previously conducted through several separate media and platforms, resulting in administrative processes, data monitoring, and report preparation that were not centrally integrated. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Human Resource Management Information System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The system was developed through the requirement planning, design, build the system, and implementation stages. The build the system stage was carried out in three iterations involving black-box testing and user evaluation as the basis for system refinement. The resulting system integrates employee data management, attendance, absence, training, daily reports, Medical Check-Up (MCU) scheduling, medical expense reimbursement, business travel, dashboards, and reports with access rights assigned to Employees, HR, Finance, and the General Manager. Black-box testing in each iteration showed that all tested functions operated according to the expected results. During the implementation stage, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted using 19 statements involving six respondents, consisting of three Employees and one representative each from HR, Finance, and the General Manager. The UAT results obtained scores of 89.44% for system functionality, 86.67% for system performance, and 86.67% for system interface evaluation, with all variables categorized as very good. These results indicate that the system was well accepted by the user representatives, while the application of RAD enabled user requirements and feedback to be incorporated gradually throughout the development process.
