Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and internship experience on the work readiness of graduates of SMK Negeri 2 Tuban. This study employed a quantitative approach involving 63 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results showed that self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on work readiness. Internship experience also had a positive and significant effect on work readiness. These findings indicate that the higher the self-efficacy possessed by graduates and the better the internship experience they obtain, the higher their level of work readiness. The results of this study suggest that improving self-efficacy and the quality of internship experiences can play an important role in supporting the work readiness of vocational high school graduates.
