Abstract
Labor welfare is one of the indicators of regional development success, which in this study is proxied by the Regency Minimum Wage (UMK). This study aims to analyze the effect of Economic Growth, the Human Development Index (HDI), and the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) on Labor Welfare in Lamongan Regency during the period of 2011–2025. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary time-series data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Lamongan Regency and East Java Province. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of EViews 12 software. The results indicate that, partially, Economic Growth and the Open Unemployment Rate have no significant effect on Labor Welfare, while the Human Development Index has a positive and significant effect on Labor Welfare. Simultaneously, Economic Growth, the Human Development Index, and the Open Unemployment Rate have a significant effect on Labor Welfare in Lamongan Regency. The Adjusted R-squared value of 0.8959 indicates that 89.59 percent of the variation in Labor Welfare can be explained by Economic Growth, the Human Development Index, and the Open Unemployment Rate, while the remaining 10.41 percent is explained by other factors outside the scope of this research model.
