Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Human Resource Planning (HRP) and Knowledge Sharing (KS) on employee performance at PT. Delapan Sisi Kreatif Persada, a creative industry company based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Employee performance at the company remained consistently below the 100% target throughout 2025, ranging between 80% and 90% across all four quarterly assessment periods. Using a quantitative associative approach, data were collected from the entire population of 40 employees (15 permanent and 25 freelance) through a saturated sampling technique with a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire. Instrument validity was tested using Pearson Product Moment correlation (r-table = 0.312; n = 40; α = 5%) and reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha (α > 0.60). The main analysis employed multiple linear regression with SPSS, supplemented by classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity). The results show that: (1) HRP and KS simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (F = 7.909; sig. = 0.001); (2) HRP partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.310; t = 2.965; sig. = 0.005); (3) KS partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.209; t = 2.388; sig. = 0.022). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.299) indicates that 29.9% of the variance in employee performance is explained by both variables. The findings imply that improving workforce planning accuracy and fostering knowledge-sharing culture are key strategies for enhancing employee performance in creative project-based organizations. Keywords: Human Resource Planning, Knowledge Sharing, Employee Performance, Multiple Linear Regression
