Abstract

Employee performance is one of the important factors in determining success of an organization, because optimal performance reflects the effectiveness of individuals in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. On work as a live host, performance is a very crucial aspect because is directly related to the ability to attract the attention of the audience, increasing interaction, as well as drive sales. However, the high performance is inseparable of various factors that affect it, such as motivation, compensation, and level of job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and Compensation for live host performance with job satisfaction as a variable intervening. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 45 respond. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square method (PLS). The results of the study show that motivation and compensation have an effect positive and significant to the performance of live hosts. In addition, job satisfaction is proven Able to mediate the relationship between motivation and compensation to host performance live.
