Abstract

Premium melon is a high-value horticultural commodity that requires technology-based motivation to produce high-quality products sustainably. Sukoati Farm has implemented Smart Screen House technology; however, the contribution of each technological component to agribusiness development has not been comprehensively evaluated. This study aimed to describe the premium melon production system, analyze the contribution of technological components, and determine development priorities. The research was conducted at Sukoati Farm, Lamongan Regency, using descriptive analysis, the Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC), and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Primary data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires involving five purposively selected key informants. The results showed that the production system had implemented Smart Screen House technology supported by technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware components. The TCC value of 0.7285 indicates that the technological capability is classified as modern. Technoware contributed the most, while infoware showed the lowest contribution and requires further improvement. The AHP results identified market access as the highest priority criterion, while the recommended development priorities were market partnership development, smart farming training, digital marketing enhancement, product diversification, and IoT and sensor development. Therefore, premium melon agribusiness development should focus on optimizing existing technology by strengthening human resources, information systems, and market linkages. Keywords: Smart Screen House, Technology Contribution Coefficient, Analytical, Hierarchy Process, agribusiness development, premium melon.
