Abstract
In the present era, technology is crucial, particularly for business owners who want to use inventory management systems. Operational data management at UD. Usaha Jaya, a hardware business, is still done by hand. The use of written records can result in a number of issues, including the inability to update stock data in real time, the vulnerability to recording errors, the lack of accurate financial reporting, and the unorganized handling of employee advances and pay. These issues highlight the necessity for a web-based inventory management system that can digitize all of UD's operational procedures. Usaha Jaya. This system uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) approach and is based on the Laravel framework. This approach was chosen because it has the benefit of actively incorporating users in every design cycle to match the system with actual field conditions. Inventory management, purchase and sale transaction processing, return management, and reporting in the form of visualization and document export features are among the primary functionalities that come from this work. The inventory management information system of UD achieved an average result of 83% based on user acceptance testing involving the owner and admin, and the results of blackbox testing on 41 use scenarios demonstrated successful outcomes. Usaha Jaya is appropriate for use in store operations and can help with supporting procedures.
