Abstract
This research focuses on how the discourse of sexual harassment in Islamic boarding schools is constructed in the film Wahyu. Film serves as a medium that functions not only as entertainment but also actively participates in constructing social discourse through its choices of narrative, dialogue, and visual representation. The film Wahyu is compelling to examine because it raises the issue of sexual harassment occurring within the environment of Islamic boarding schools, a setting that has long been associated with religious imagery and moral authority. This research aims to determine how the discourse of sexual harassment within Islamic boarding schools is constructed in the film Wahyu, based on Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis approach. This study employs a critical paradigm with a qualitative method and a descriptive research type, analyzing Fairclough's three dimensions of discourse. The results indicate that the discourse of sexual harassment in Islamic boarding schools reveals that the boarding school, as an institution with strong moral authority, simultaneously functions as a space that creates loopholes for the occurrence and concealment of sexual harassment.
