Abstract
The decline in public trust toward the government, worsened by the failure to address basic welfare, has triggered critical responses from student groups. These criticisms, however, are increasingly met with digital repression, forcing activists to turn to alternative media. This study aims to analyze the resistance narrative and regime-delegitimization strategies presented in the podcast episode "Nyala Api di Jalan Sunyi Perjuangan" on the Forum Keadilan TV YouTube channel. Using a qualitative approach grounded in Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), which covers the micro (textual), meso (discursive practice), and macro (sociocultural) dimensions, this study uncovers the ideology embedded within the speaker's statements. The findings show that the speaker, a student activist, employs seven linguistic tactics including reductive irony, metaphor, binary opposition, extreme moral labeling, resistance diction, personal-systemic separation rhetoric, and transversal-solidarity rhetoric marked by distinctive phrases such as "catering state" and "outsourced labor". At the meso level, the independent channel functions as an uncensored distribution catalyst that reached more than one million viewers and prompted active audience reproduction of the narrative. At the macro level, the resistance narrative is a direct response to a broader legitimacy crisis and systemic digital repression. The study concludes that the digital counter-public sphere effectively facilitates the delegitimization of the regime's moral and intellectual authority, confirming that civil society's political resistance has substantially shifted toward the digital sphere.
