Abstract
Digital transformation has become an essential need in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of company operations, including employee attendance management. This internship project aims to design and develop a web-based digital attendance platform called Yuk Absen. The system was built using a fullstack approach, with React.js for the frontend, Express.js for the backend, and MongoDB as the database. Key features developed include daily attendance tracking (check-in/check-out), leave requests, reimbursements, and role-based user management (admin and employee). The system is also equipped with JWT authentication to ensure secure access. During the internship at PT Winnicode Garuda Teknologi, the student was involved in the entire development process, starting from requirements analysis using questionnaires, UI/UX design with Figma, backend API development, functional testing, and deployment to a public server. This project provided realworld experience in applying programming and software engineering knowledge to meet industry needs. The final result is a platform that enhances transparency, efficiency, and accuracy in employee attendance management and offers added value as a digital solution that can be adopted more widely in the future.
