Abstract
PIXL Group is a company engaged in Handy Talky (HT) rental services. In its operational activities, order management, inventory control, payment processing, and reporting are still carried out semi-manually, resulting in data inconsistencies, double bookings, and delays in information sharing across departments. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Order Management System (OMS) that integrates order and inventory management processes at PIXL Group. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The development process was conducted iteratively through two prototype design cycles involving end users to ensure that the system met the company's operational requirements. The application was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The prototype iterations demonstrated improvements in the system design, as indicated by the increase in Maze scores from 80 to 89 for the owner, 86 to 88 for the marketing staff, and 88 to 94 for the storage staff. In addition, the average User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) score increased from 1.88 in the first iteration to 2.67 in the second iteration, representing a 42.2% improvement. The developed system successfully integrated order management, inventory management, payment processing, booking calendar, quality control, weekly reporting, and user management into a centralized platform. Based on Black Box Testing conducted on 19 features with 154 test scenarios, all scenarios were successfully completed, resulting in a 100% success rate. Furthermore, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) achieved a score of 97.20%, which was classified as Very Good, indicating that the system was highly accepted by its users.
