Abstract
This report presents the results of the field work practice (Praktik Kerja Lapangan) entitled "Designing and Implementing an API for Sentiment Analysis and MSME Business Performance with Google Cloud Services," conducted at Yayasan Dicoding Indonesia from 6 September to 31 December 2024. This project aims to develop the ASIK AI application, an artificial-intelligence-based assistant designed to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) analyze customer sentiment and their business performance. By leveraging Cloud Computing technology, the developed API enables integration among Machine Learning, Mobile Development, and Cloud Computing components, so that MSMEs can access the analytical data needed for better decision-making. The application of information technology in MSMEs has been shown to improve operational efficiency and market competitiveness. However, many MSME actors still face challenges in adopting this technology, particularly regarding knowledge and skills. Therefore, this project offers an innovative solution that uses data analysis to provide in-depth insights into business performance and customer behavior. With a system that can automatically collect and analyze data, MSMEs are expected to make accurate, information-based decisions. Through the Independent Study program at Bangkit Academy, supported by Google and other partners, this project provides students with practical experience in designing technology-based solutions. The results of this project are expected not only to benefit MSMEs in improving product and service quality but also to contribute to local economic development and the sustainability of the MSME sector in Indonesia.
