Abstract
Job satisfaction is one of the key factors influencing the sustainability and operational effectiveness of a company. Employees' level of job satisfaction can be affected by various factors, including workload and burnout. Excessive workload has the potential to create prolonged work pressure, which may lead to burnout and ultimately reduce employees' job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effect of workload on job satisfaction, the effect of workload on burnout, the effect of burnout on job satisfaction, and the mediating role of burnout in the relationship between workload and job satisfaction among employees of CV. Sukses Bersama. This study employed a quantitative research method, with all variables measured using a Likert scale. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 37 employees of CV. Sukses Bersama. A saturated sampling technique was applied, in which the entire population was included as the research sample. The collected data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction among employees of CV. Sukses Bersama. Workload also has a positive and significant effect on burnout. Furthermore, burnout has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. In addition, burnout was found to significantly mediate the relationship between workload and job satisfaction among employees of CV. Sukses Bersama. These findings suggest that the higher the workload assigned to employees, the higher the level of burnout they experience, which consequently leads to lower job satisfaction.
