Abstract
Pension fund planning is an important aspect in maintaining the financial well-being of individuals after entering retirement. For TNI AL soldiers, the need for pension fund planning becomes increasingly important due to the relatively earlier retirement age compared to civilian workers, with rising financial needs and the high job risks during their service. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, health literacy, and financial patriotism on retirement fund planning among TNI AL soldiers. This research employs a quantitative method with purposive sampling technique, involving 86 soldiers as respondents. Data processing was conducted using SmartPLS 4 software. The research results show that financial literacy, health literacy, and financial patriotism have a positive and significant impact on the pension fund planning of the Indonesian Navy soldiers. The study findings indicate that the better the financial literacy, health literacy, and financial patriotism possessed by the Indonesian Navy soldiers, the better the pension fund planning they undertake. These results affirm that financial readiness in retirement is not only determined by financial understanding but also by awareness of health risks and financial responsibilities oriented toward long-term well-being.
