Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Labor Force Participation Rate, the Human Development Index, and the City Minimum Wage on economic growth in the cities of Bandung, Cirebon, Bogor, and Sukabumi. This study utilizes secondary data in the form of time series and cross-sectional data over a specific period obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and relevant agencies. The results indicate that the Labor Force Participation Rate has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, the Human Development Index has a negative and significant effect on economic growth, while the City Minimum Wage has a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth in the cities of Bandung, Cirebon, Bogor, and Sukabumi. Simultaneously, the Labor Force Participation Rate, the Human Development Index, and the City Minimum Wage have a significant effect on economic growth. It is hoped that the findings of this study can serve as a basis for local governments in formulating labor policies, improving the quality of human resources, and setting minimum wages to promote regional economic growth.
