Abstract
The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the use of fitness applications such as Strava to support physical activity and healthy lifestyles. In 2025, running or jogging was recorded as the most popular sport among Indonesians, with a percentage of 60.6%, leading to the increasing use of fitness applications to monitor exercise activities and support body health. However, privacy and data security issues remain challenges that may influence users’ intention to continue using the application. This study aims to analyze the behavioral intention to use Strava in supporting body health. The research model adopts UTAUT2 with the addition of perceived privacy protection and health status as a moderating variable. This study used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 442 respondents and analyzed the data using PLS-SEM. The results show that all main variables have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention. Among users with chronic disease histories, only performance expectancy was found to be significant. Meanwhile, among non-chronic users, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, habit, and perceived privacy protection were significant. Overall, Strava has the potential to continue being used as a supporting application for sports activities and body health due to its benefits, ease of use, and privacy protection
