Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the influence of financial literacy, FOMO, and financial technology on investment decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were accounting students of UPN "Veteran" East Java, Class of 2023-2024, with a sample of 89 students determined using a random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy, FOMO, and financial technology have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions in Generation Z among accounting students of UPN "Veteran" East Java, Class of 2023-2024. Based on these results, it can be concluded that increased financial literacy encourages better investment decision-making. In addition, high levels of FOMO increase an individual's tendency to invest, while the use of financial technology also strengthens the quality of investment decisions.
