Abstract

The Trans Jateng Cleanliness Supervisor (WASB) application is a web-based information system developed to support the real-time monitoring, reporting and evaluation of cleanliness at bus stops and pools. During the development process, structured software testing is required to ensure that the system runs according to the functional and non-functional requirements. This study aims to implement the Black Box Testing method using automation tools within the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) framework, integrated with the Agile Scrum method, for the WASB Trans Jawa Timur application. The research was conducted through the STLC stages, which include requirement analysis, test planning, test case development, environment setup, test execution, and test cycle closure. The testing process covered functional and non-functional aspects using several automation tools: Katalon Studio for feature testing, Postman for API testing, JMeter for performance testing, BrowserStack and Catchpoint for compatibility testing, and Internet Speed and OWASP ZAP for security testing. The results of the study show that the tests carried out covered 328 functional test cases and 23 non-functional test cases. During the testing process, several defects were found and subsequently fixed and re-tested in each sprint. Based on the final testing results, all test cases received a passed status with a pass rate of 100%, in line with the scope of the research. The main features of the application are functioning as required, while non-functional testing shows that the system has stable performance, good usability, sufficient compatibility with various devices, and adequate security. The implementation of STLC within the Agile Scrum framework has also been proven to generate a structured, iterative and well-documented testing process, thereby supporting the continuous improvement of application quality.
