Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic growth, education level, and minimum wage levels on labor absorption in Mojokerto Regencies for the period 2010–2024. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mojokerto. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression with the help of EViews 10. The results of the study in Mojokerto Regency show that economic growth and minimum wage variables have no significant effect on labor absorption, while education level has a positive and significant effect.. These results demonstrate that differences in economic structure and labor market characteristics in each region influence the differences in research findings. Theoretically, this study supports the Solow-Swan Growth Theory and Keynesian Theory, where human resource quality, technological development, and purchasing power play a significant role in determining labor absorption rates. The results of this study can be considered by local governments when developing more effective and targeted employment programs. Keywords: Economic Growth, Education Level, Minimum Wage, Labor Absorption.
