Abstract

The human resource information system at PT Intan Ustrix is one of the systems used to support administrative processes and decision-making related to human resources. However, the effectiveness of its implementation has never been systematically evaluated, as has user experience that has the potential to affect the level of use and benefits of the system. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the success of the implementation of the personnel information system using the DeLone and McLean model with the addition of internal control quality variables. The variables used in this study include system quality, information quality, service quality, internal control quality, use, user satisfaction, and net benefit. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to users of the personnel information system. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. The population in this study was 200 employees, and the sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 5% error rate, so that a minimum sample size of 133 respondents was obtained. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach using SmartPLS software version 4. The results showed that five of the eleven proposed hypotheses were accepted. The results indicate that information quality significantly influences user satisfaction, service quality and internal control quality significantly influence use, and use and user satisfaction significantly influence net benefit. Meanwhile, other variables do not show a significant effect. These results explain that the success of the personnel information system at PT Intan Ustrix is more influenced by user satisfaction and the level of system usage than the quality of the system itself, so that optimizing information quality and user experience are important factors in increasing system benefits.
