Abstract
This Field Work Practice (PKL) aimed to design and develop Famoria, a mobile and web-based application that supports hospitality needs in booking and managing family events, such as weddings and birthday parties. The application development process was carried out using the Design Thinking method, which consists of the Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing stages. Famoria provides key features such as AI-based search, service customization, and event schedule management, all of which are designed to simplify user interaction with Event Organizers (EOs). The application design adopts a minimalist approach with modern elements, including calming blue color schemes and a user-friendly layout. Usability testing resulted in a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 85 (Acceptable), reflecting a high level of user satisfaction. Design iterations were continuously conducted based on user feedback, including improvements to AI-based recommendation features and visual enhancements. This application not only offers an efficient solution for users in managing family events, but also expands opportunities for Event Organizers to promote their services. With a focus on hospitality and innovative technology, Famoria is expected to become a reliable platform that supports professional and effective family event management.
