Abstract
The purpose of this project is to develop a web-based inventory system for the Intelligent Systems and Robotics Laboratory (SCR) at the Computer Science Faculty of UPN Veteran Jatim. The background of this research is based on the need for an information system that can help organize the inventory of items in the SCR lab, as well as record incoming and outgoing items. This research follows the waterfall development method, which includes stages such as requirement analysis, system design, system development, and testing. The requirement analysis is carried out to identify the problems and needs in the SCR Lab related to the web-based inventory system. The system design includes user interface and user experience design, as well as detailing the feature requirements and technical aspects of the system. The system development is done using Visual Studio Code (VS Code) as the code editor and the PHP programming language. Testing is performed to identify any errors or deficiencies in the developed inventory system. The outcome of this research is a web-based inventory system that can assist the SCR Lab in organizing the inventory and recording incoming and outgoing items. This system can be accessed by lab administrators and includes features such as inventory monitoring and management, as well as item borrowing reception.
