Abstract
The East Java Rest Area Mapping Application is a web-based application designed to assist drivers in locating rest areas throughout East Java. This application provides comprehensive information regarding the location, facilities, and services available at each rest area. Additionally, it features navigation capabilities to help drivers determine the best route to their desired rest area. The application was developed using the PHP programming language and the CodeIgniter 4 (CI4) framework, utilizing LeafletJs for map rendering and Bootstrap for the user interface design. The resulting application is expected to effectively help drivers find rest areas that meet their specific needs. In completing this internship (PKL), several stages were conducted, including: (1) the preparation of requirement analysis and system specification documents, (2) the design and implementation of the application, (3) application testing, and (4) the preparation of documentation and reports. Throughout the development process, the author collaborated with PT. Jasa Marga Related Business to ensure that the application aligned with the needs and expectations of the relevant stakeholders. The final result of this internship is a web application capable of assisting drivers in finding rest areas in East Java according to their requirements.
