Abstract

The patient's family complaints demand good performance from employees, including at Homecare Loesiana Lestari Surabaya. Employee performance is very important for the quality of service in Homecare. The survey results show the need for employees to face job demands and instill a high sense of trust. This study examines the influence of job demands and confidence on employee performance through work attachment as a mediating variable, focusing on direct and indirect influences The sample in this study is all 75 employees of Homecare Loesiana Lestari Surabaya. The sampling technique uses the full population method, where all members of the population are sampled. This study uses primary data through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The data analysis technique was carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS). with the help of Smart PLS 4.0 software The results of the study showed that work demands had a negative effect on employee performance, confidence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work attachment mediated the effect of work demands on employee performance and work attachment also mediated the influence of confidence on employee performance.
