Abstract
PT Zona Edukasi Nusantara has been trusted as one of the independent campus partners for the Certified Independent Study (SIB) program. This program aims to enable students to learn from experienced mentors in the technology industry and apply these skills to the workplace, enabling them to launch careers immediately upon completion. During the MSIB program, students are taught topics such as Climate Change and Sustainable Development, critical thinking, the fundamentals of UI/UX Design, and the tools commonly used to design websites and mobile applications. At the midpoint and end of the program, students are assigned mini-projects and capstone projects, which they will work on together with their assigned groups. With the climate crisis as the theme, the authors' group completed a final case study project by creating an application called "GreenHero" to reduce air pollution in Jakarta. The authors used design thinking methods to create the GreenHero application. Design thinking is a series of cognitive, strategic, and practical processes carried out repeatedly to create innovative solutions that were previously unthinkable.
