Abstract
This study aims to analyze the contribution of self-efficacy and motivation to entrepreneurial interest among students in the Entrepreneurship Study Program, Class of 2022, at the "Veteran" National Development University, East Java. The background of the study indicates that many students are still hesitant to start a business due to a lack of confidence and preferring jobs perceived as secure. The study used a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis techniques and involved 53 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument included measurements of self-efficacy, motivation, and entrepreneurial interest using a Likert scale. The results indicate that self-efficacy contributes to entrepreneurial interest, with students with strong beliefs in their abilities tending to be more interested in starting a business. Furthermore, motivation also contributes to increased entrepreneurial interest. Internal drives such as the desire to succeed, independence, and aspirations for self-development have been shown to strengthen students' inclination to choose the entrepreneurial path. These findings underscore the importance of enhancing student self-confidence and motivation as part of efforts to foster an entrepreneurial culture in higher education. Keywords: Self-Efficacy; Motivation; Entrepreneurial Interest.
