Abstract
Acetone and Acetic Acid Anhydride Acetate Plant with a Process Capacity of 18,000 tons/year to be Established on Jl. Industri II, Grogol, Sukoharjo, Central Java. This plant is planned to operate 24 hours per day and 330 days per year with the main raw materials being Acetone (C₃H6O) and Acetic Acid (CH3COOH). Anhydrous Acetic Acid ((CH3CO)2O) with a concentration of 99.4% is a chemical widely used in various industrial sectors. Acetic anhydride is used as a solvent for organic compounds, fungicide and bactericide, plays a role in the acetylation process, aspirin production, and acetylmorphine production.
