Abstract
In this study, firm value (Y) is measured using Tobin's Q ratio, which is a comparison between the company's market value and the replacement cost of its assets. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and leverage on firm value, as well as the role of dividend policy as a moderating variable, in healthcare sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020 to 2023. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the company's financial statements with the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis technique. The research population is healthcare sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2023 with a sample of 120 or 30 companies through purposive sampling technique. The results state that profitability contributes to firm value and leverage contributes to firm value. Dividend policy cannot control the relationship between profitability and firm value and cannot control the relationship between leverage and firm value. These findings are in line with the views expressed in signaling theory, agency theory, and pecking order theory. This study suggests companies to manage the use of leverage carefully to maximize profits and appropriate dividend distribution to increase firm value. Keywords : Profitability, Leverage, Dividend Policy, Firm Value
