Abstract
The transformation of electronic medical records represents a strategic step in improving the quality of healthcare services in Indonesia. The obligation to implement electronic medical records is stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2022 and reinforced by the presence of the Satu Sehat platform. The Independent Midwife Practice Siti Nur Aini, A.Md.Keb., as a healthcare facility providing services such as pregnancy examinations, childbirth, family planning, and health consultations, still manages medical records manually. This condition creates several challenges, including limited storage space, the risk of data loss, and obstacles in the information retrieval process. This study aims to develop the BIDIG (Bidan Medis Digital) information system by applying the Boyer-Moore Algorithm to accelerate medical record searches and support medical report generation. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with active user involvement. Evaluation was carried out across four aspects: algorithm performance, usability, compatibility, and Black Box Testing. The System Usability Scale (SUS) test involving 10 respondents yielded an average score of 87.25, categorized as Acceptable, with a grade of B and an adjective rating of Excellent. Algorithm testing using a confusion matrix on 10.000 medical record data produced an accuracy of 0.9999, precision of 0.8595, and recall of 1.00. The compatibility test demonstrated that the system can operate consistently across various devices and browsers, while the Black Box Testing confirmed that all core functions of the system operated in accordance with user requirements.
