Abstract

The employee data request process within the Blitar City Government is currently conducted manually, which leads to inefficiency, repetitive work, and the risk of data inaccuracies. This research aimed to design and build a web-based Employee Data Request Information System (SIPDP) to automate and streamline this workflow. The development method used was Rapid Application Development (RAD), which included three main stages: requirements planning, an iterative design workshop with prototyping, and implementation. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, and its evaluation was carried out through functional testing with Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The research resulted in an information system capable of digitally managing the entire request workflow. The UAT results showed a high level of user acceptance, with scores reaching 92.67% from data requesters and 95% from internal parties, both of which fell into the 'Strongly Agree' category. These findings proved that the developed system was well-accepted by its users.
