Abstract

This research analyzes Indonesia's public diplomacy strategy in the G-20 Bali 2022 Summit as a soft power instrument that includes four key dimensions: Shuttle Diplomacy through President Jokowi's visit to Russia-Ukraine to encourage peaceful resolution, affirming Indonesia's role as a global mediator; Economic Diplomacy by utilizing the G-20 forum to attract investment and cooperation programs; Concrete Deliverables in the form of policy outputs that raise issues of energy transition, global health infrastructure, and digitalization; and Mass Public Appeal through the Gala Dinner and Cultural Festival that strengthen Indonesia's nation branding through cultural exposure. Using a case study-based qualitative method, this research shows how Indonesia combines multilateral, economic, and cultural diplomacy to build an image as an inclusive leader in the global arena, while producing tangible impacts both politically and economically.
