Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of income, family size, and education level on household consumption in Ngagel Rejo Subdistrict, Surabaya City. The background of this research is based on the importance of understanding the factors that affect community consumption behavior, which plays a role in improving welfare. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression techniques. Primary data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 150 households selected based on certain criteria relevant to the research objectives. The analysis results indicate that simultaneously, income, family size, and education have a significant effect on household consumption. Partially, income and family size have a significant effect, while education does not have a significant effect on household consumption. This study provides contributions for policymakers in formulating strategies to enhance urban community welfare.
