Abstract

Digital transformation is driving companies to adopt integrated technology systems to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness. PT Solomon Indo Global, as a fast-moving consumer goods company, faces various challenges in the product distribution process involving principals, distributors, and resellers, due to a lack of system integration. Issues such as the absence of multi-warehouse stock tracking, undocumented distribution workflows, and an unsystematic partner role structure have led to inefficiencies and increased workloads. To address these issues, a study was conducted focused on developing an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system centred on the User Management, Inventory, and Shipment modules. This study utilised the 5 Stages ERP Implementation method, which includes the following stages: Project Preparation, Business Blueprint, Realisation, Final Preparation, and Go Live and Support. However, this study did not reach the golive and implementation stages. The first stage, Project Preparation, was conducted through problem definition with partners, interviews and problem identification observations, and project scope limitation. The second stage, Business Blueprint, was carried out by mapping the as-is business processes and creating a new design map for the to-be business processes, followed by a comparison of business process efficiency. The third stage, Realisation, was carried out using the Scrum method, including product backlog, sprint planning, sprint execution, and daily Scrum, with a focus on system design, UI design, coding, and testing. The fourth stage, Final Preparation, is still in the Scrum phase with activities including sprint review and sprint retrospective to evaluate system development and sprint progress. The fifth stage, Go Live and Support, includes activities such as compiling user manual documents, compiling KPIs, and training plans. The result of this research is an ERP system with a focus on user management, inventory, and shipping modules that are also integrated with the sales module.
