Abstract
The rapid development of fintech has driven the emergence of various innovations, including the Flip application, which offers interbank transfer services without administrative fees. Although the application has received high ratings and a growing number of downloads, many users have expressed complaints, such as slow transfer times, issues with the refund process, and transaction failures. This phenomenon raises questions about why users continue to use the application despite its shortcomings. In addition, some users still do not fully understand the benefits of the Flip application, indicating the presence of complex dynamics in technology acceptance. This study aims to evaluate the factors that influence the acceptance of the Flip application using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to three hundred eighty four active users of the Flip application. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), utilizing the SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the hypothesis testing show that out of eleven proposed hypotheses, seven were accepted while four were rejected. The variables found to have a positive and significant influence on Behavioral Intention were Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation, and Habit. Meanwhile, Effort Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Price Value, and Perceived Risk were not found to have a significant effect on Behavioral Intention. Furthermore, Behavioral Intention, Facilitating Conditions, and Habit were found to have a positive and significant influence on Use Behavior. These findings suggest that habit, social influence, and enjoyable experiences are important factors in shaping the intention and behavior of using the Flip application. Strategic recommendations derived from this study can be utilized by application developers to strengthen the significant factors that contribute to increasing user acceptance and loyalty. Keywords : UTAUT2, Behavioral Intention, Use Behavior, Flip, SEM-PLS
