Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the multifactor implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on cuttlefish products in the Cold Storage of the Perikanan Nusantara Port (PPN) Brondong, Lamongan. GMP is a crucial quality assurance system to ensure the safety and quality of fishery products, especially in meeting international export standards. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a census technique of 26 respondents consisting of internal and external parties Cold Storage. Data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies, and analyzed using factor analysis with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results on the first objective, namely the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on Cuttlefish products in Cold Storage VAT Brondong has been implemented properly, but there are still some obstacles in its implementation. The KMO test results of 0.659 and Bartlett's Test show that the data is suitable for analysis. Thirteen main GMP variables were grouped into five main factors that were able to explain more than 87% of the data variation. The main components were sanitation facilities, handling and processing, and raw and auxiliary materials. This multifactor evaluation provides important insights for strengthening the overall GMP system, in order to improve the quality, safety and competitiveness of Indonesian cuttlefish products in the export market.
