Abstract
Indonesia, as one of the developing countries, actively pursues development across various sectors with the aim of boosting economic growth. President Joko Widodo has declared that the government has an ambitious national agenda, namely Making Indonesia 4.0, which aims to position the country among the world’s top 10 economies by 2030. The strategic role of East Java as a center of innovation and economic growth strengthens Indonesia's position on the global map. The implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is evident in East Java, particularly in the digital economy sector, which saw rapid start-up growth in 2019. The economy of Gresik Regency has experienced growth compared to the previous year, with BLP Property playing a significant role as a real estate company developing residential areas in the region. The vision and mission of BLP Property are dedicated to transforming this area into a self-sustaining city and environmentally oriented space, by creating thermal comfort in response to the existing climatic conditions. The wet tropical climate of Gresik, characterized by high humidity, requires special attention regarding environmental comfort. The design of the Rental Office by PT BLP Gresik is intended to provide thermal and visual comfort for building occupants by utilizing solar energy and other natural resources through bioclimatic architecture. The principles of bioclimatic architecture are systematically applied as both an approach and method in conceptualizing building mass, form, aesthetics, interior and exterior spaces, and building systems. This building is expected to facilitate business and office activities in Gresik Regency. The relationship between thermal comfort and the creation of an ideal temperature not only has a positive impact on physical well-being but also significantly contributes to team harmony.
