Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of exposure to sustainability advocacy content on the Instagram account @aliansizerowaste.id on the green consumerism of its followers. The background of this research stems from the escalating environmental crisis and the vital role of social media in educating the public about sustainable living. This study employs a quantitative explanatory approach using an online survey method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with criteria requiring participants to have followed the @aliansizerowaste.id account for at least one week. The independent variable is exposure to sustainability advocacy content, measured through frequency, duration, and attention. The dependent variable is green consumerism, measured by environmental concern, attitude toward green products, and green purchase behavior. The results show a positive and significant effect between exposure and green consumerism, with a significance value of 0.003 and a regression coefficient of 0.486. The study concludes that consistent and educational content from environmental community Instagram accounts can shape more environmentally conscious attitudes and consumption behavior.
