Abstract
Global tourism is experiencing significant growth, with the projected number of tourists reaching 1.8 billion by 2030. In this context, quality accommodation is key to attracting tourists, especially in areas with high tourism potential such as Kediri District, East Java. With a variety of tourist attractions, including cultural and natural sites, Kediri shows a significant increase in tourist visits, although it still faces challenges in terms of adequate accommodation. The purpose of this study is to design a four-star resort that integrates the local culture of Kediri as a solution to increase accommodation capacity and attract more tourists. The design utilizes a local culture approach with the theme being “Eco-Centric Cultural Spaces Living,” which aims to create a unique experience for visitors through a design that reflects local cultural values. The resort not only functions as a place to stay, but also as a center for cultural preservation and promotion. The expected results of this design are an increase in the number of tourist visits, strengthening the cultural identity of Kediri Regency, and contributing to the local economy through the development of tourism infrastructure such as resorts. Thus, this resort is expected to be a model for the development of resorts that focus on preserving culture and the natural environment.
