Abstract

Organizational Satisfaction is an important indicator to form active and productive retirees in retirement. This behavior can be influenced by several factors, namely retirement readiness, training to face retirement, and retiree motivation. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of retirement readiness, training to face retirement, and motivation of retirees on organizational satisfaction in the Association of Wredatama Republik Indonesia Bekasi City. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data which is obtained through distributing questionnaires to representatives of the PWRI management at the city, sub-district, and village levels in Bekasi City with a total of 80 respondents with proportional stratified sampling technique. Apart from using primary data, this research uses secondary data obtained from PWRI Bekasi City. Data analysis uses Partial Least Square Structural (PLS) techniques to test the direct influence between Retirement Readiness, Training Facing Retirement, and Retiree Motivation on Organizational Satisfaction The results showed that retirement readiness and training facing retirement had no effect on organizational satisfaction. However, retiree motivation has an influence on organizational satisfaction. Through this research, it is expected to provide contributions and suggestions for the development of elderly productivity in Indonesia.
