Abstract
A Chicken Slaughterhouse is a specialized construction that meets specific technical and hygienic requirements and is used to slaughter poultry for public consumption (SNI 01-6160-1999). According to SNI, poultry is any type of bird raised and used for food, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, pigeons, and quail. Slaughterhouses (RPA) can be modern or traditional. Both modern and traditional RPAs can pose serious environmental health problems, especially if the waste generated is directly discharged into rivers without further treatment.
