Abstract
The point of this study is to find out how the speed of music affects workers' ability to do their jobs and their risk of cognitive failure in the production division of PT. Adi Joyo Kusumo. People who are bored or stressed out by doing the same thing over and over again listen to music. The Cognitive Failure Questionnaire (CFQ) was given to 12 workers as part of this study, and production levels were watched over seven days while music at three different speeds: not at all, quickly, and slowly. The results show that fast-paced music is the most productive, with a total of 26 units made. This is followed by music with no beats (23 units) and music with slow beats (21 units). It has been tested and found that all of the CFQ items are true. The Cronbach's Alpha number of 0.921 also shows that the tests are reliable. An ANOVA test with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and an F value of 17.078 shows that the speed of the music has a significant impact on the levels of cognitive failure. Even though fast-paced music can help you work better, the noise level got to 89 dB and woke up other departments. This study concludes that fast tempo music can be used as a productivity enhancement strategy, provided that noise levels are controlled to avoid negative impacts on other work environments.
