Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of incentives, motivation, and leadership on sales improvement, with performance as a mediating variable, at CV. Sendy Leather. The method used is a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique using SmartPLS 4 software. The sample consisted of 44 respondents from various divisions in production and marketing. The results indicate that incentives and leadership have a significant influence on employee performance, while motivation does not. Furthermore, only performance has a significant direct effect on sales improvement. The direct effects of incentives, motivation, and leadership on sales improvement were found to be insignificant. The indirect effect test also shows that performance does not significantly mediate the relationship between independent variables and sales improvement. The values of R-square, Q-square, F-square, and path coefficients support that performance is the key factor influencing sales improvement.
